Who makes SuSolid

I'm David Malnar, and I made SuSolid in 2011 to solve a problem of my own. I was designing a metal cabinet with a strict weight limit, so I drew it in SketchUp and wrote a script to calculate its weight from the volume of the parts, the density of iron and the fixed weight of the parts mounted inside. I soon ran into trouble with the volumes: SketchUp often couldn't give me one, for many different reasons. It took me a few months of work before the script could estimate the weight, and that work became SuSolid.

So I can help you quickly, please include:

• your SketchUp version (Help › About SketchUp),
• your operating system (for example Windows 11 or macOS 14),
• your SuSolid version (Extensions › SuSolid › About),
• a short description of the problem: what you did, what you expected and what happened,
• a screenshot, ideally with Analyse running so the counters are visible.

If the problem is in one model, you can attach it (or a small part of it) too.
